Ri-Q-Bridge

Ri-Q-Bridge

Ri-Q-Bridge

The combination of the P3-1 guide arm and the Ri-Q-bridge provides the ideal conditions for optimum draft. The Ri-Q-bridge with its curfed profile, positioned between the bottom delivery and bottom middle cylinder, ensures better monitoring of the drafting process. In the main drafting zone the fibers slide slightly apart and are thus better controlled.

Application

Rieter offers its customers the guide bar as fitted to the G 33 machine. For fine spinners (finer than Ne 30’s), this guide bar can in most cases improve the quality of the yarn: better Uster CV, fewer thick and thin places and neps.

Convertible machines: G 5/..., G 10, G 30

Highlights

  • Further improvement in quality
  • Better movement of the aprons

Advantages

  • Up to 40% fewer thick places
  • Up to 40% fewer thin places
  • Up to 18% higher yarn strength
