R 60 Fully automatic rotor spinning machine - The new generation of rotor spinning machines

The new R 60 fully automatic rotor spinning machine sets new standards in quality, productivity and flexibility with reduced energy requirements. The improved spinning stability of the new S 60 spinning unit allows a productivity increase of up to 5% over other machines, with better yarn quality. The productivity potential with 540 rotors and up to 4 fast robots is enormous. The option of independent machine sides offers additional flexibility. The uniform yarn quality of the R 60 with the yarn-like piecing concept AEROpiecing® guarantees the user a leading position as yarn supplier. The new design of the spinning unit and the controls simplifies operation and reduces running costs.

Economy

  • Maximum productivity with up to 540 rotors and thanks to a higher rotor speed than was previously possible.
  • Up to 5% energy saving in comparison to other machines, thanks to the new rotor drive geometry and an efficient main fan with automatic filter cleaning cycle.
  • Up to 4 high-speed robots (cycle time < 24 s) ensure a high level of efficiency even with frequent piecing and package change. Unique service stations shorten maintenance time and permit trouble-free operation.

Quality

  • Improved yarn uniformity due to further development of the S 60 spinning unit with individual centering.
  • Unique AEROpiecing® technology for yarn-like piecing.
  • Constant yarn quality and yarn strength thanks to patented VARIOclean rotor cleaning.

Flexibility

  • Rapid lot change thanks to the new TWISTunit consisting of nozzle, channel insert and TWISTstop. For the changing of the spinning elements, no tools are necessary.
  • Flexibility provided by independent machine sides (optional). Two separate tube loaders and conveyors securely prevent mix-up.
  • Integrated VARIOspin slub yarn device (optional, by specialist, Amsler). It is easy to retrofit later.
