Rieter CZ s.r.o. is a part of the Rieter group which is a leading world producer of machinery and system solutions for the textile industries.

Rieter CZ s.r.o. develops and produces textile machinery and engineering components.

There are two company plants in the region of East Bohemia, one in Ústí nad Orlicí and one in Žamberk. Rieter CZ s.r.o. can be characterized by its focus on innovations which are implemented in its own development centre. Other company characteristics include precision engineering for textile machinery and its components by means of modern technologies and processes, high level of customer orientation and long-term relations with the customers.

Full integration into the Rieter group structures, application of foreign know-how and focus on stable growth give Rieter CZ s.r.o. very good prospects of further development.

Rieter announces sales of part of Rieter CZ s.r.o.

Swiss company Rieter to which also Rieter CZ s.r.o. belongs has signed a contract to sell part of its activities in the Czech Republic to the Swiss company Bühler Group. The subject of the sale is the Žamberk plant and the Sheet metal production in Ústí nad Orlicí. The effects of the sale will take place in January 2012. All other parts of Rieter CZ s.r.o. remain part of Rieter and are not subject of the transaction.

Bühler Group takes over all employees of the concerned part of Rieter CZ s.r.o. and will continue the current activity with its customers and suppliers. Bühler Group plans to further extend its activities in the Czech Republic.

Bühler Group is an international company with activities in over 140 countries and employs 7860 employees worldwide. The main activity of Bühler Group is the production of machinery for the food industry.
