Rieter has complemented its range of spinning technologies with the latest fully automated air-jet spinning machine. The machine design is based on Rieter’s proven know-how in the area of drafting and automation and introduces a new concept in high-speed winding and an individual unit driving system. The yarn, formed in the flow of air, possesses unique characteristics, which differentiate it from the other Rieter yarn brands. Like Com4® and ComfoRo® yarns, the new air-jet yarn ComforJet® offers the potential to create new types of fabrics.

- Due to improved yarn quality, maximum delivery speeds of up to 450 m/min are achieved on the individually driven spinning units.
- The new spinning unit on the J 20 enables yarns with higher strength and fewer imperfections.
- The J 20 can optionally be equipped with independently producing machine sides. This concept enables two different yarn qualities to be spun simultaneously.
