Manufacturing services are a part of Rieter Textile Systems. They function as suppliers and produce relevant parts and components for textile machines. At four production sites in Switzerland, Germany and the Czech Republic about 700 employees work in production, assembly and engineering.
The wide spectrum of services covers sheet metal operations, grinding, milling and turning operations, production of gearboxes, electronics, assembly of components and machines, engineering and construction.
The business volume with external customers is about 30% of the total turnover. External customers profit of a lean and competitive cost structure and the profound manufacturing know how of Rieter. They have access to the entire manufacturing network in Switzerland and the Czech Republic.
