History of the company
Today Rieter CZ is a modern company with both Automotive and Textile machinery industries within one legal unit. In the past the company and its predecessors were mainly tied to the textile or textile machinery industries. Each business unit of Rieter CZ is unique in its historical development. These days we speak of the modern history of Rieter CZ dating back to 1882 when Antonín Brožek's weaving mill was established in Ústí nad Orlicí. We present a short overview of the most significant dates in our history.

Change legal unit name from Rieter a.s. to Rieter s.r.o.

The company receives title ''Most Admired Company 2007'' and ranks among the most successful companies in Czech Republic in Pardubice Region in 2007

The company awarded the prize ''Enterpreneur project of The Year''. The company also receives the award for ''Project with The Most Innovative Potential for 2006'' for realising the project of the air-jet spinning machine

The company ranks in a second place in a competition ''The Enterpreneur of Pardubice Region''

Rieter CZ a.s. awarded the prize,,Exporter of The Year 2005''. The company was ranked 22nd among the most significant exporters in Czech Republic
