UBS Fund Management (Switzerland) AG, Basel, has informed Rieter Holding Ltd., Winterthur, on 9 August 2005 that it currently holds 223'951 registered shares in Rieter Holding Ltd. This is equivalent to 5.032% of the total voting rights. According to the notification by UBS Fund Management (Switzerland) AG the limit of 5 percent of the voting rights was exceeded on 4 August 2005.
Rieter is going to publish its 2005 Semi-Annual Report on 16 August.
