The SERVOlap E 26 is a fully automated lap transport system. This system can transport a total of eight laps from the combing preparation machine to the comber in a completely contactless process. At the same time, the empty tubes are conveyed back to the combing preparation machine fully automatically. This ensures a closed material flow.

Combining the SERVOlap with fully automatic combers allows the combing plant to run with absolute autonomy. This saves on personnel costs and also increases the efficiency of the combing plant.

A total of eight laps are transported from the combing preparation machine to the comber in a completely contact-free process, during which the quality of the batt is ensured at all times. External influences, such as the operator touching the lap, are prevented. During automated transport, grippers hold the laps on the inside of the tube.

Flexibility

Lap turnstiles provide flexibility with regard to the layout of the mill. This means the machines can be set up in such a way as to save on space. Up to four combing preparation machines and 24 combers can be connected to a single plant installation.

Thanks to the flexible and sophisticated design of the system, the plant construction can easily be extended. Existing plant installations can be extended up to a maximum length of 100 m.
