Burteks and Rieter – Commitment to Innovation with OMEGAlap E 40
Driven by innovation, Burteks Tekstil from Gaziantep, Türkiye, partnered with Rieter to optimize their combing preparation process. They integrated the new OMEGAlap E 40 into their production line and experienced 33% higher production, reduced energy consumption and easy maintenance.

In 2025, Rieter unveiled its latest combing preparation model, OMEGAlap E 40, tried and tested by Burteks Tekstil in Türkiye. Alp Karakayali, mill manager at Burteks, experienced a much faster lap change and therefore a production increase of 33%.
Operators appreciate the significantly easier and faster maintenance and cleaning thanks to an optimized machine concept. Key changes: The drafting units and all key components are now located in the winding head, making them easily accessible in one place. This eliminates the need for a vertical section.
A. Karakayali also sees notable advantages in terms of power consumption and compressed air – lowering energy costs while also supporting sustainability goals.
Last but not least OMEGAlap E 40 produces high-quality laps with cosistent batt weight.
