Nipaş Tekstil Enhances Sliver Quality with CGC
With Carding Gap Control (CGC) on its cards C 80, Nipaş Tekstil unlocks higher productivity while maintaining outstanding sliver quality.
By upgrading its C 80 cards with Rieter’s Carding Gap Control (CGC), Nipaş Tekstil increases productivity, ensures consistently high sliver quality, and reduces maintenance effort.
CGC automatically maintains the optimal carding gap – the distance between flats and cylinder – under all conditions, unlocking the full potential of the 40 active flats.

To achieve this, the system continuously and contact-free monitors the carding gap by detecting the distance between needle tips and cylinder clothing.
Based on this data, intelligent software calculates the ideal carding gap, taking into account key variables such as machine temperature. The centrally controlled electronic flat setting ensures the gap remains stable within the optimal range at all times.
