The card C 80 produces up to 30% more card sliver compared with the current benchmark. A maximum technological carding area is the basis for high productivity and raw material utilization. 

The C 80 is simple to maintain as it is easily accessible. The integrated Q-Package and extremely precise central adjustment of the flats ensure fast and straightforward adjustment to new raw material. The high quality of the card sliver is based on the large active carding area and the precise carding gap.

Economy

Thanks to the largest active carding area on the market and the optimized pre- and post-carding zones, output is up to 30% higher than the current benchmark – with continued top-quality results in all yarn applications.

The raw material utilization is supported by the maximum technological cross-section, as well as pre and post-carding zones that can be equipped individually and configured according to the raw material.

Energy-efficient drives, innovative machine components and high production capacity mean a low energy cost per kilogram of card sliver produced.

Quality

The quality of the card sliver is primarily a result of the large active carding area – with 40 active flats – and the precision of the carding gap.

The precise, flexible bend for flats guides the fibers effectively to the flats area and ensures gentle carding without shortening the fibers.

The cylinder circumference of the C 80 is optimized to its maximum technological potential. The integrated IGS-classic wire sharpening system ensures permanently sharp cylinder clothing, resulting in consistently high sliver quality.

Flexibility

With an intelligent design featuring a modular assembly and easy accessibility, the C 80 is simple to maintain.

The integrated Q-Package and extremely precise central adjustment of the flats to exactly one hundredth of a millimeter ensure fast and straightforward adjustment to new raw material.

Article parameters can be changed easily and intuitively on the operating unit. This reduces the time required for changing the assortment, making service work easier.

Autoleveled draw frame module RSB-Module 50 – the new benchmark in process shortening

The direct connection of the card with the new autoleveled draw frame module RSB-Module 50 reduces the number of draw frame passages and improves the efficiency of the spinning mill.

The RSB-Module 50 is based on the proven drive and drafting technology of the autoleveler draw frame RSB-D 50. A completely new, contact-free type of scanning technology for autoleveling the fed slivers and monitoring the delivered card sliver guarantees even better card sliver and yarn quality. If the raw material or card sliver weight is changed, no scanning rollers must be replaced. This increases flexibility and reduces costs.

The most important technical and technological highlights:

  • Two draft zones for best yarn evenness
  • Narrow cylinder distances for processing short fiber lengths
  • Up to five-fold total draft comfortably adjustable on the operating unit
